Bones

View from stairwell, east facing window.

I just love this view of the maples. Whether its when they turn on their autumn fire, when they are in fresh green leaf in spring or cooling summer green habouring king parrots, or like now showing their lichen covered bare bones.

Down the back the wattle is in flower.

Reflection:
Proverbs 16:24 (New International Version)
Pleasant words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

  1. oo oo ... did I hear my favourite word? Nice isn't it that you can become attached to nooks in a garden?

I love this time of year with all the wattles and the perfume of same wafting everywhere. Not good for my asthma, but what the heck ...

You are right, of course, about the "silent cop". I will wait until mid-morning to see if the other Aussies can pick it and then put up the companion image.
